We are seeking a Senior WordPress Web Developer to join our team at Orthoplex Solutions. Our company is growing fast and we need a responsible, talented and creative person to lead web design and development for our upcoming projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain WordPress websites with an emphasis on performance, user experience, and functionality.
- Utilize your extensive experience with Elementor and WooCommerce to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
- Implement advanced custom fields and custom post types to enhance website flexibility and content management.
- Lead the development of complex WordPress solutions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize site performance.
- Work closely with design and UI/UX teams to ensure seamless integration of visual designs into WordPress themes.
- Utilize your proficiency in HTML and CSS to implement responsive and pixel-perfect designs.
- Ensure that websites meet high standards of security, speed, and SEO optimization.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide expert guidance on technical aspects.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and share best practices within the development team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Elementor, with a deep understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
- 3+ years of proven experience developing WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites.
- Proficiency in advanced custom fields and custom post types, with the ability to architect and implement complex solutions.
- Strong HTML and CSS skills, ensuring websites are responsive, pixel-perfect, and compatible across various devices and browsers.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for design-related tasks.
- Solid grasp of UI/UX principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code for optimal performance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- English proficiency is required
