Product Owner Intern

Orthoplex Solutions is looking for a Product Owner Intern to support our growing team. This internship is ideal for a motivated individual eager to gain hands-on experience in digital product development, project management, and client communications. You will work alongside experienced Product Owners and development teams, helping shape innovative web and mobile applications for clients across North America and Europe. This is a 2-month unpaid internship with the opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience and mentorship in a fast-paced software development environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Product Owners in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing requirements from clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and product roadmaps.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, gaining exposure to agile methodologies.
  • Help prepare client presentations and demos, ensuring clear communication of progress and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to refine features and improve workflows.
  • Conduct competitive research and contribute to product improvement ideas.
  • Maintain product documentation and ensure requirements are up to date throughout the development cycle.

Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Eagerness to learn product management practices in a real-world setting.

Experience:

  • No professional experience required — training and mentorship will be provided.
  • Previous coursework, internships, or projects in business, software development, or related fields is a plus.

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Required).
