Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain WordPress websites, emphasizing performance, user experience, and functionality.
- Utilize your extensive experience with Elementor and WooCommerce to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
- Implement advanced custom fields and post types to enhance website flexibility and content management.
- Lead the development of complex WordPress solutions, troubleshooting issues, and optimized site performance.
- Work closely with design and UI/UX teams to ensure seamless integration of visual designs.
- Utilize your proficiency in HTML and CSS to implement responsive and pixel-perfect designs.
- Ensure that websites meet high security, speed, and SEO optimization standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide expert guidance on technical aspects.
- Experience developing custom WordPress plugins and extending core WordPress functionalities without relying on third-party tools.
- Ability to debug and resolve server-level issues (PHP errors, memory limits, caching conflicts, NGINX/Apache configuration issues).
- Strong understanding of database architecture, including optimizing MySQL queries, reducing query load, and troubleshooting slow database performance.
- Experience implementing advanced caching layers (Redis, Memcached, object caching, full-page caching) for high-traffic environments.
- Proficiency with Git-based workflows, including feature branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Ability to integrate and troubleshoot REST APIs and Webhooks within WordPress and WooCommerce.
- Experience hardening WordPress security through custom security rules, WAF configurations, and vulnerability patching.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes for WordPress environments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress, with a deep understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
- 3+ years of proven experience developing WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites.
- Proficiency in advanced custom fields and custom post types, with the ability to architect and implement complex solutions.
- Strong HTML and CSS skills, ensuring websites are responsive, pixel-perfect, and compatible across various devices and browsers.
- Solid grasp of UI/UX principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code for optimal performance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- English proficiency is required.
